(Senior Researcher. Graduated from Leningrad (St.Petersburg) State University (SPbSU) in 1976, took post-graduate course at Leningrad University from 1976 to 1980, Ph.D. 1985, SPbSU)

A member of EAS.

I am primarily interested in calculations on emission spectra of hydrogen and helium of the nonstable objects as T Tau stars, UV Ceti stars, AGNs and quasars. Also, I am studying the interaction of the stellar winds in WR+OB systems.

Other direction of my work is collection and systematization of all information - parameters and identification charts - concerning close binary systems on late evolutionary stages - the AM Her stars (polars), intermediate polars, symbiotic stars, double white dwarfs and binary pulsars, SU UMa stars. The results of this work was published in Gordon and Breach Publishers (Cherepashchuk~A.M., Katysheva~N.A., Khruzina~T.S., Shugarov~S.Yu. Catalog of Highly Evolved Close Binary Stars. Part 1. /Ed.
